Rumors vs Expectations

The movie’s fan base is extremely high — both previous films My Fault and Your Fault were massive hits. Viewers were expecting that this movie would also be high on romance like the previous ones, but that didn’t happen. In this movie, you’ll see very little romance compared to the earlier films.

Short Review

At the beginning of Our Fault, Nova steps off a plane — clearly changed from the girl we saw in the previous movies. When she reunites with her old friends, Nick also shows up, making her visibly uncomfortable. The reason becomes clear if you’ve seen the first two films.

Soon after, both attend a friend’s wedding ceremony, and just like before, the “brother-sister” chemistry between them resurfaces. As the story progresses, Nova joins a new company — only to discover that Nick, her ex-boyfriend (and stepbrother), has purchased shares in the same firm. This leads to frequent arguments between them. Nick starts teasing Nova at work, asking her to do small tasks like making coffee just to provoke her.

The film lacks emotional depth, but one thing that stands out is the undeniable attraction between Nova and Nick. Despite knowing they shouldn’t be together, they can’t stay apart. A major twist arrives when Nova finds out she’s pregnant — and the baby is Nick’s.

A new character, Simon, is introduced in Our Fault. Nova begins dating him, while Nick’s current girlfriend (who’s also his lawyer) deliberately takes him to a party where Nova and Simon are present, creating more chaos.

In Mia Culpa 3, Nova decides to leave both Nick and Simon behind after realizing this is the weakest film in the trilogy — with no emotions, no strong story, and very little romance. Fans who were waiting for Our Fault (2025) might be disappointed. Toward the end, Nova finally tells Nick she’s pregnant, shocking him completely. Upset by his reaction, she drives away — just like in My Fault. Nick saves her once again, and later, the couple has a baby together. But the story adds one last twist — their child gets kidnapped by people connected to Nick’s past, leading to a dramatic fight scene.

The movie ends with a possible hint at another sequel — though nothing is confirmed yet.

Overall, Our Fault is worth watching only if you’re a hardcore fan of the series. The story is decent but not better than the previous installments. The romance — the main reason fans loved this series — is almost missing. Emotions are flat, and the movie seems to target an audience aged 23 to 30.

💔 Storyline & Plot

The movie follows Noah (played by Nicole Wallace) and Nick (Gabriel Guevara), whose love has always been passionate but full of danger. After the chaos of Your Fault, the two try to rebuild their relationship while facing new obstacles — lies, family pressure, and the shadow of their past mistakes.
When Nick is accused of something he didn’t do, Noah is torn between her heart and her mind. The story moves between emotional breakdowns, betrayal, and moments of genuine connection, keeping you glued till the end.
Unlike typical teenage romances, Our Fault adds maturity — showing how love can both heal and destroy at the same time.

🎭 Performances

Nicole Wallace shines again as Noah — her emotional expressions and growth as a character feel authentic. Gabriel Guevara delivers a powerful performance, capturing Nick’s struggle between love and guilt. Their chemistry is electric, making every scene intense and believable. Supporting characters also get more depth this time, giving the story stronger balance.

🎬 Direction, Music & Cinematography

Domingo González presents a visually rich and emotionally charged film. The music perfectly matches every mood — from heartbreak to hope. The camera work highlights both passion and pain beautifully, making each frame feel cinematic. Editing is smooth, and the pacing feels tighter than the previous parts.

🌟 Verdict

Our Fault is a perfect conclusion to the trilogy — emotional, dramatic, and full of passion. It talks about love, forgiveness, and second chances with honesty and depth.
Fans of My Fault and Your Fault will find this movie deeply satisfying.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
A must-watch for those who enjoy heartfelt romantic dramas with a mix of tension and truth.

The Bond They Can’t Break:

Nova and Nick’s Unstoppable Connection

One of the most noticeable things in the movie is that Nova and Nick simply cannot live without each other. After some time, Nova goes to meet Nick, even though both of them are in separate relationships. They are still deeply in love with each other and make it clear that no one can separate them, and they themselves do not want to be apart. They argue and fight, but it’s obvious that they are meant to be together and are only meant for each other.
