The story continues after the events of War (2019), where Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) returns for another dangerous mission that connects directly with the Indian intelligence network. This time, he faces a mysterious enemy, played by Jr. NTR, who is as smart and fearless as Kabir himself. Their cat-and-mouse chase runs across multiple countries — from India to Europe — filled with breathtaking action, betrayals, and shocking twists.
Unlike typical Bollywood action, War 2 tries to mix emotion with espionage. However, the middle part of the film slows down a bit due to long dialogues and predictable turns.

Hrithik Roshan once again proves why he is the face of India’s spy genre. His screen presence, body language, and action scenes are top-notch. Jr. NTR steals the show with his intensity and natural acting style — his face-offs with Hrithik are pure cinematic gold. Kiara Advani adds glamour and grace, though her role could have been longer.
The action sequences are massive — helicopter chases, rooftop fights, and slow-motion explosions — everything feels made for the big screen.
Direction, Music & Cinematography
Ayan Mukerji delivers a visually rich movie with strong editing and world-class cinematography. The background score by Pritam perfectly matches the film’s high energy. However, the emotional depth seen in Ayan’s earlier works is slightly missing here.
